Carl Olton, Jr.
Also known as C.J., is a political scientist dedicated to enhancing institutional ownership in melanated communities. Raised by a Jamaican father and an African American mother from South Central Los Angeles, C.J. has personally understood the significance of social, political, and economic policies at a young age. Most of C.J.’s research concentrates on social policy (health, education, crime, poverty, community/economic development, etc.).
Olton is a freelance policy analyst with skills in policy analysis, public relations, and creative writing. C.J. has been rewarded a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from California State University San Marcos and a Master’s degree in Urban and Public Affairs from the University of San Francisco. C.J. finds passion in learning more about consciousness, morality and spirituality, including holistic nutrition and mindfulness techniques.
